Job Description: Field Risk Coordinator - Oil Field

Position Overview

We are seeking a Field Risk Coordinator to join our team in the oil and gas industry. The successful candidate will focus on identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks associated with field operations. This role involves close collaboration with various teams to ensure safety, compliance, and efficiency in all oil field activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Risk Assessment: Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities in field operations.
  • Mitigation Strategies: Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies tailored to field activities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Safety Management: Monitor safety protocols and practices, ensuring all personnel adhere to safety guidelines and best practices.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze data related to incidents and near misses to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Training: Facilitate training sessions for field personnel on risk management and safety protocols.
  • Reporting: Prepare comprehensive reports on risk assessments and mitigation efforts, presenting findings to management and stakeholders.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with operations, engineering, and HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) teams to enhance risk management practices.
  • Emergency Preparedness: Develop and maintain emergency response plans and ensure readiness for potential incidents.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in risk management, safety, or environmental health within the oil and gas industry.
  • Certifications: Professional certifications in risk management (e.g., CRMP, ARM) or safety (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) are a plus.
  • Skills:

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • Proficient in risk assessment tools and software.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in high-pressure situations.

Work Environment

  • Will involve fieldwork in various oil field locations, often in remote or challenging environments.
  • Must be willing to travel as required for site assessments and coordination.

Must Have
